We told you about it recently, Ubisoft’s free-to-play dedicated to multiplayer games online and on rollerblades is now available for download. Announced in 2019, it promises to be accessible and fun, as we can see from the launch trailer broadcast on the networks.

A Rocket League/Knockout City mix?

Thing promised, thing due! While Ubisoft Montreal’s multiplayer title has given little news since its announcement in 2019, everything accelerated last week. The one that could be described as “Rocket League from Ubisoft” then revealed itself and announced a release for May 25. It’s now done and a gameplay video will allow you to get your first opinion on this free downloadable title.

The Ubisoft Montreal teams have great experience in online games since we owe them a participation in the development of Hyper Scape or Rainbow Six: Siege. This time, it will be a question of competing in 3 vs 3 on closed arenas in which it will be necessary to score points to win the game. The concept looks furiously like Knockout City, but is also inspired by Rocket League, all on rollerblades!

A paid battle pass will also accompany what Ubisoft describes as the “inaugural season”. The latter will extend over a month to let players familiarize themselves with the title and allow them to unlock the maximum of available rewards. However, some will be available for free, depending on your progress. A FAQs official details how it works. Roller Champions is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC.
