Germany wants to increase the cooperation between Baltic coast states and build a first joint offshore wind power plant, Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said at a meeting of regional states on Wednesday. Baerbock argued at the meeting in Kristiansand in Norway that an expansion of wind power would also mean a reduction in the countries’ dependence on Russian gas and oil.
