[Update 26.04.2022]: Microsoft has KB 5012643 now for all provided. Small changes were made and the version number changes to 22000.652.
[Original 15.04.2022]: We just had the patch day and Microsoft is immediately pushing an optional non-security update KB 5012643 afterwards. The update increases the version number to Windows 11 22000.651.
With the update, a whole series of corrections are made again. What is new is that improvements have been made to the maintenance of the Secure Boot component of Windows. The update is currently being rolled out in the RP channel and if approved it will be rolled out to everyone. We already know. PS: We already have the first ISOs
Known issues from KB5012643
Fixed issues by KB5012643
- We fixed an issue that causes the AppX Deployment Service (AppXSvc) to stop working after installing certain MSIX applications.
- We have corrected a malfunction that occurs at the beginning of the boot process and can cause a stop error.
- We’ve enhanced the Autopilot client to handle updated Trusted Platform Module (TPM) features that support self-deployment and pre-provisioning scenarios.
- We’ve changed the Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) registration timeout from 60 minutes to 90 minutes for hybrid Azure AD-joined Autopilot scenarios. This also fixes a race condition that causes a timeout exception.
- We fixed an issue that was delaying OS startup by approximately 40 minutes.
- We fixed a memory leak issue affecting Windows systems running 24/7.
We fixed an issue affecting DHCP option 119 (Domain Search List) by preventing use of the connection-specific DNS suffix search list. - We fixed an issue affecting the title attribute in Microsoft Edge IE mode.
- We fixed an issue where mobile device management (MDM) policies weren’t allowed on Windows Enterprise editions upgraded to Enterprise using Azure AD-joined subscription entitlement.
- We fixed an issue that could result in video subtitles being partially truncated.
- We fixed an issue where video subtitles were misaligned.
- We fixed an issue where Kerberos authentication fails and the error is 0xc0030009 (RPC_NT_NULL_REF_POINTER) This error occurs when a client machine tries to connect to another machine using Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) while Remote Credential Guard is enabled.
- We fixed an issue that causes Windows to switch to BitLocker recovery after a servicing update.
- We fixed an issue that prevents the Endorsement Key (EK) certificate from being retrieved from the TPM device.
- We fixed an issue where copying the security portion of a Group Policy to a computer might fail.
- We fixed an issue that prevents the Microsoft RDP client control (version 11 and later) from running in a Microsoft Foundation Class (MFC) dialog.
- We displayed the temperature above the weather icon in the taskbar.
- We fixed an issue that prevented you from using the minimize, maximize, and close buttons in a maximized application window. This issue occurs because the Notification Center keeps input focus.
- We fixed an issue that can occur when you use Netdom.exe or the Active Directory Domains And Trusts snap-in to enumerate name suffixes or change routing. These procedures can fail. The error message is: “There are not enough system resources to complete the requested service.” This issue occurs after the January 2022 security update is installed on the primary domain controller emulator (PDCe).
- We fixed an issue that causes the root domain’s primary domain controller (PDC) to generate warning and error events in the system log. This issue occurs when the PDC incorrectly attempts to scan only outbound trusts.
- We fixed an issue that occurs when you map a network drive to a Server Message Block Version 1 (SMBv1) share. After restarting the operating system, you can no longer access this network drive.
- We have corrected an issue affecting an SMB multichannel connection that may generate a 13A or C2 error.
- We fixed an issue that corrupts a pool when a client-side caching (CSC) cleanup method fails to delete a created resource.
- We fixed an issue that could cause the server to hang because the nonpaged pool is growing and consuming all memory. After a restart, the same problem occurs again when you try to fix the damage.
- We’ve reduced the overhead of resource contention in high input/output operations per second (IOPS) scenarios where many threads are competing for a single file.
