A 46-year-old New Jersey man was shot and killed Sunday evening in East Orange, officials said. Gregory Evens was found with gunshot wounds on Sunnyside Terrace in the area of Hudson Avenue after police were called at about 7:30 p.m., the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office said Monday. Evens, of Irvington, was pronounced dead about 20 minutes later. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
