A small video game UFO in the world of 2D fighting games which has earned a good reputation since its PC release in 2020, Them’s Fightin’ Herds is about to put fans of the genre on game consoles, Nintendo Switch included, in agreement. Mane6 and Modus Games have just announced that Them’s Fightin’ Herds will come out next fall.
Them’s Fightin’ Herds, currently available on Steam, is a four-button 2D fighting game featuring characters designed by Lauren Faust (producer and developer of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic; creator, director and developer of Super Best Friends Forever). Battle it out in Arcade and Local Versus modes, practice in Tutorial and Practice modes, then dive into the game’s extensive online matchmaking features (with netcode GGPO rollback) to compete against players around the world. You can also explore an episodic story mode that mixes top-down adventure with fighting game combat challenges!
