Countdown sound

How to set up Apple Watch SOS

The Apple Watch does not have a quick press of the side SOS button. Instead, it has two options.

Auto SOS is turned on by default in the Apple Watch app settings.

Open the Apple Watch app on iPhone > My Watch > swipe down to Emergency SOS or on a wearable device to the Settings app > swipe or scroll down to SOS. You can now disable the Hold side button if you wish.

Apple Watch makes a loud countdown beep like an iPhone. However, there is no option to turn it off. Even if your iPhone or Apple Watch is set to silent or vibrate, the countdown will sound.

If you feel like practicing a little, just to get more comfortable with the SOS feature on your iPhone and Apple Watch, just remember to turn off the 2-second countdown.

Remember that if you accidentally send an SOS call, you can end it before it reaches the emergency services if you press “Cancel” as quickly as possible.

How to Set Up or Update Medical ID on iPhone

Launch the Health app on iPhone. On the Summary or Overview tab, tap your profile icon in the top right corner. Select Medical Record > Edit. blocked, and share your medical ID when making an emergency call. Click “Done” in the top right corner when you’re done.
