The presidential elections are over… and Free Mobile is making commitments for a new five-year term. This time, Xavier Niel does not however take the presidential posture as at the beginning of the year to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the launch of Free’s mobile offer which took place on January 10, 2012.

In a press release, Free stresses that it has not increased the prices of its mobile plans for 10 years and undertakes not to do so for the next 5 years at least.

While several media echo the price increases of operators’ offers to their subscriber base in 2021, Free Mobile intends to maintain in 2022 the course set when it was launched ten years ago: no increase rates for its two historic packages.

A three-five-year policy for Free Mobile

It is here a question of package at 2 € (or €0 for Freebox subscribers) for 2 hours of calls with 50 MB in 4G for mobile Internet, and premium package at €19.99 per month (€15.99 for Freebox subscribers).

This last currently offers 210 GB of mobile Internet with 5G or 4G mobile for non-Freebox subscribers, and unlimited 5G and 4G and 210 GB in 3G with 5G mobile, unlimited 4G and 210 GB in 3G with 4G mobile for subscribers Freebox.

Since 2012, the operator emphasizes having enriched its packages without increasing the prices, and that it will remain faithful to this policy ” despite the inflationary context and the heavy investments currently made to deploy 5G and Fiber in all territories.
