The manufacturer TCL Technology held a conference in Poland 3 days ago which aims to reassure investors and shareholders, but, beyond the presentation of the next television models, the Chinese brand allows us to discover what is planned the manufacturer for the next consoles.

We discover in a slide, which again has absolutely nothing official from Sony or Microsoft, that the manufacturer plans that the mid-gen consoles (Gen 9.5) will be released between 2023 and 2024.

2023 or 2024, why not, the PS4 Pro came out 3 years after the PS4, so that would be a consistent time frame.

In the slide, if we go into a little detail, we learn that the new Xbox and PS5 Pro would benefit from an AMD APU based on an RX7700XT, an AMD Navi 33 chip, under RDNA3 architecture.

This chip would of course be the central point of these new consoles, it would be engraved in 6 nm at TSMC, the power of this new AMD chip would be very high, it would be at the level of one of the best current graphics cards, the RX6900XT.

Thus the new generation Xbox Series and the PS5 Pro would be capable, according to TCL, of displaying internal rendering of games in 4K (at 60 and 120 FPS) while the output resolution would be in 8K.

Of course, this is all speculation on the part of TCL Technology.and again, none of this is official, but 2024, why not, the manufacturers will have, by then, launched their SLIM model of the Xbox Series X and PS5.
