Frank Sinatra, who sang hit songs about New York and Chicago finally was honored on the Garden State Parkway with a service area named after him. Yes, the service area is located in Atlantic County, a long way from his Hoboken birthplace, but officials at the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, which runs the Parkway, are quick to point out it’s 75-miles south of the PNC Arts Center, and 13 miles west of Atlantic City casinos both places where Sinatra performed.
