After a long wait, Techland finally released Dying Light 2: Stay Human in February. Around two months later, the studio is now officially naming sales figures.

Techland should be quite happy with the launch of the zombie sequel Dying Light 2: Stay Human after it was finally released in early February 2022. With a little delay, official sales figures have now been given that cover the period up to February 28, 2022 – and thus roughly the first month of sales.

In this time window alone, Dying Light 2 wandered over the counter five million times. Some time has passed since then and in the press release Techland at least continues to emphasize that these numbers have continued to increase every month so far. This is also why one speaks of a “bull’s eye” in relation to the sequel.

Pawel Marchewka, Techland’s CEO, said in a statement about the sales figures: “The success of the Dying Light series is a great example of the unforgettable experiences we create for our players.”

Apart from the sales figures, the creators are also pleased about the predominantly positive reviews of the title on the popular Steam platform. Some new content is to follow in the coming days – and other “interesting announcements” are also planned. We will of course keep you up to date on this.
