Here is a little program for iOS that should save you time: QuickCapture. This application, as minimalist as possible, simply offers you to take notes in three ways, namely by voice dictation, on the keyboard or using the camera. Text recognition works great, and developer Philip Davis says he created this app to quickly record book quotes.
Once your text is scanned, you can only copy or send it via AirDrop, iMessages or another app. Quick Capture is not overzealous and has been designed to get straight to the point: there is no backup system, and everything works more like a table that disappears as soon as the app is restarted.
The developer plans to add an archive system in the future to keep certain notes. This app requires at least iOS 15 and an iPhone XS as it is based on the Live Text feature. It is free, weighs 1.3 MB and does not collect any information.
