The excellent Little Nightmares 2 has been available on our consoles for over a year now, which means that the Swedish developers at Tarsier Studios have probably started working on their new project for several months now. With more than 1.5 million sales of this second episode in less than a year (the first Little Nightmare exceeded 3 million sales in five years), we can say that the studio can work calmly on its new game.
What’s fairly certain is that this project shouldn’t be Little Nightmare 3 since the franchise is owned by Bandai-Namco and Tarsier Studios was acquired by the ogre Embracer Group in 2019. A handful of clues have was shared via the studio’s official Twitter account along with a very short teaser that shows us a large run-down house. Very productive, the Scandinavian developers have managed to release a game every two years so far, it remains to be seen whether they will be able to meet the same deadlines with this new production. We may have the beginning of an answer this summer.
