IT House has learned that Taiwan currently has wafer fabs such as TSMC, UMC, Vanguard, and PSMC.

TrendForce predicts that the market share of foundry capacity in Taiwan will drop slightly to 44% in 2025. Among them, the market share of 12-inch wafer capacity is 47%; the advanced process capacity is about 58%.

Additionally, TrendForce stated,Taiwan will still hold 44% of the world’s foundry capacity by 2025and even has 58% of the world’s advanced process capacity.
