Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Janša, a right-wing nationalist, is facing a close result in his bid for re-election on Sunday as his country goes to the polls to choose a new parliament. Janša finds himself almost neck-and-neck with newcomer Robert Golob, of the green-liberal Freedom Movement, although both appear to be a long way from winning an overall majority in the 90-seat National Assembly.
