This summer, Marshall will be releasing an updated version of its Emberton mobile speaker. The new model, which is logically called Emberton II, will stick to the same classic Marshall design as before but will be made of 50 percent recycled plastic and be 100 percent free of PVC. Other news with Emberton II include app control and the ability to pair speakers – according to Marshall themselves, you can “connect as many Emberton II as you want.”
The total playing time of a charge is stated to be up to 30 hours, which is 50 percent more than its predecessor, and with support for fast charging, it takes 20 minutes to provide a charge that covers four hours of play. 3 hours it gives full charge. The speaker is also IP67-rated to withstand being taken. The dimensions are 68 x 160 x 76 millimeters and the match weight is 0.7 kilos.
Two 2-inch broadband elements and two passive elements mean that the speaker’s power will be 2 X 10 W with a maximum sound level of 87dB at a distance of one meter with a frequency range of 60 Hz – 20 kHz.
Marshall Emberton II will be available this summer with a recommended price of SEK 1,795.
