Sudan’s security forces have cracked down on demonstrators protesting against last October’s military coup, in an attempt to crush unrest in the country over the past few days. Police forces reportedly fired teargas and shotguns at protestors in Khartoum and its twin city of Omdurman on Monday. There was a similar violent response to demonstrations over the weekend.
