Hertha Berlin president Werner Gegenbauer announced on Tuesday he is stepping down from his position, a day after the club secured Bundesliga status with play-off victory at SV Hamburg. “I informed the presidium of my decision to step down as president of Hertha,” Gegenbauer said.
