Today it’s the turn for the flagships Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro, which have become one step lower in the hierarchy of family devices.

Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro received E5 AMOLED panels with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, support for 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and HDR. But in the case of the younger model, the screen has a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and support for 16.7 million colors, and in the “firmware” the resolution was increased to 3200×1440 pixels, they implemented the technology of dynamic frame rate LTPO 3.0 and 1.07 billion colors.

As for the hardware platform, Vivo X80 offers Dimensity 9000, and in the case of Vivo X80 Pro, users can choose the version with the same MediaTek chip or prefer Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Both smartphones offer modifications with 8/12 GB of LPDDR5 or 256 RAM / 512 GB of permanent UFS 3.1, but the Vivo X80 has a younger version with 128 GB of memory.

Both new products offer a 32 MP front camera with f / 2.45 aperture, 80 W fast charging, stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner (ultrasonic in the Pro version), support for Wi-Fi 6, GPS, NFC, infrared and Bluetooth 5.2, as well as a linear vibration motor. At the same time, the battery capacity of the Vivo X80 was 4500 mAh, and the firmware has a 4700 mAh battery and has 50 W wireless charging.

But where the new items are strikingly different is in terms of cameras, sound, water resistance and heat dissipation. So, only the Vivo X80 Pro got a liquid cooling system with an area of ​​4285 mm, an audio chip and an IP68 protection class. The same model received a quadruple rear camera, where the main Samsung GNV sensor is 50 megapixels with f / 1.57 aperture and an optical stub, there is an ultra-wide 48 megapixel (f / 2.2) and a 12 megapixel portrait lens (f / 1.57). The ensemble of sensors is completed by an 8 megapixel zoom periscope with support for 5x optical zoom and 60x digital zoom.

Vivo X80 is content with three image sensors in the rear camera, where the main one is 50 megapixel Sony IMX866, wide 12 megapixel and portrait with the same resolution with support for 2x optical zoom and 20x digital. All smartphones are equipped with Zeiss optical lenses and Zeiss T* coating, proprietary V1+ image chips, and support Night Vision for high-quality low-light shots.
