The real-time strategy game, Dune: Spice Wars, developed by the independent French studio Shiro Games, arrives this April 26. This game highlights the world of Dune, created by Frank Herbert through a literary saga, which was then adapted several times into films, notably in 2021 by Denis Villeneuve. It therefore makes Dune: Spice Wars a highly anticipated productionespecially since the other games stamped Shiro Games have always had (very) good feedback.

Thus, many players wonder what time Dune: Spice Wars will be playable.

Dune: Spice Wars release time

The output of Dune: Spice Wars is scheduled for April 26., only through Steam, in Early Access. Regarding the precise release time, the developers have scheduled it for 3 p.m. French time, or in the middle of the day. So it won’t be long before you can get your hands on this RTS with 4X features.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to pre-order it, and therefore to have access to the pre-download, to take advantage of it as soon as it is launched. Nevertheless, Dune: Spice Wars is not very heavy, and its download size is around 3 GB.

Regarding Dune: Spice Wars itself, know that you will, as in the novels and films, have to take control of a faction, to dominate Arrakis, the sandy planet, and its Spice. The objective is, of course, to dominate the planet and reap all the benefits, but this will not be an easy task, since everyone has the same objective. Thanks to the faction you have chosen, you will have certain advantages.

Naturally, since Dune: Spice Wars is coming to Early Access, it will be packed with significant content in the weeks and months after release. A campaign and a multiplayer mode will normally be added later. Player feedback will be very important.
