European Council President Charles Michel has expressed relief at the re-election of French President Emmanuel Macron for a second term. “In these troubled times, we need a strong Europe and a France fully committed to a more sovereign and strategic European Union,’ Michel tweeted in French. “We can count on France for five more years.”
