The fantasy role-playing game “Baldur’s Gate 3” will be a long time coming. Larian Studios has confirmed once again that the release will not take place until 2023.
As is well known, Larian Studios, which attracted attention in the past with the “Divinity: Original Sin” games, is working on the upcoming fantasy role-playing game “Baldur’s Gate 3”. Currently, the adventure that revitalizes the brand once created by BioWare is in Early Access on PC.
Exact date still unknown
And after the developers already in February 2022 informedthat the full release will probably not take place until next year, they have confirmed this schedule again in a latest developer update.
The latest video briefly summarizes the previous path that Larian Studios had taken in development so far. According to the company, the game will continue to get “better and better” while adding “a lot of great stuff”. However, there is still a lot to do, which is why the following is said in conclusion:
“So join us in Early Access on our Baldur’s Gate 3 journey, or join us in 2023 when the game launches.”
