IT House April 24 news, in March this year, Sony announced the launch of a new generation of PlayStation Plus services for the first time, divided into three different membership levels: PS Plus Essentials, PS Plus Extra, and PS Plus Premium.
According to an email sent to ResetEra users, Sony revealed that it will allow players to change their subscription tiers on their own. That said, you can move to a different subscription level at will, and the cost will be flexibly adjusted based on the time remaining on the user’s current subscription plan.
“You can easily upgrade to a higher benefit plan at any time. To do this, you just pay the difference between your current plan and your new plan, which can be adjusted based on your remaining subscription time.”

PlayStation Plus has three versions for players to choose from. The basic version of PlayStation Plus supports features such as multiplayer online games, free monthly game downloads, and cloud storage of game progress. The monthly subscription fee is $9.99, and the annual subscription fee is $59.99.
The upgraded PlayStation Plus not only includes everything in the base PlayStation Plus, but also downloads and runs up to 400 PS4 and PS5 games. The price is $14.99 per month and $99.99 per year.
The Premium Edition of PlayStation Plus includes everything from the first two editions, plus 340 more games, including PS3 titles available via streaming, as well as classics from the original PlayStation, PS2, and PSP. The premium version of PlayStation Plus offers users a limited-time trial feature that allows players to try out the game before purchasing, and is priced at $17.99 per month or $119.99 per year.
Sony said that when the new PlayStation Plus service launches, “PlayStation Now, which offers a collection of PS4, PS3 and PS2 games, will no longer be available as a standalone service.”
