Taiwanese computer manufacturer Asus has unveiled the world’s first 500Hz gaming monitor with Nvidia G-Sync technology, the ROG Swift 500Hz.
The Asus ROG Swift 500Hz is a 24.1-inch 1080p (Full HD) monitor. Designed specifically for competitive gaming, it features an “E-TN” (eSports TN) panel with Nvidia G-Sync eSports technology for ultimate motion clarity. In addition, the monitor has received support for Nvidia’s Reflex Analyzer, which provides real-time statistics to help reduce end-to-end latency when using a Reflex-optimized mouse and a GeForce graphics card.
The monitor’s key feature is its 500Hz refresh rate, which renders eight times faster than typical 60Hz displays.
Asus ROG Swift 500Hz is specially calibrated for CS:GO, Valorant, Overwatch and Rainbow Six Siege games. Unfortunately, the prices and dates of the start of sales of this monitor are not yet known.
