Apple plans to increase production of the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max by 10 million units in the second calendar quarter of the year, which will run from April to June, according to Taiwan’s DigiTimes.

Apple is rumored to expand its iPhone 13 production plan in the second quarter of 2022. In particular, production of the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max models is planned to increase by approximately 10 million units, and the relevant participants in the Apple supply chain are expected to benefit from this.

The report shows an improvement in the supply chain, which is struggling to keep up with demand amid restrictions due to COVID-19 in China. Several Apple suppliers have been forced to partially or completely suspend production, jeopardizing the supply and availability of iPhones, iPads, Macs and other consumer electronics.

This Thursday, Apple will announce its second quarter 2022 earnings, which will highlight the company’s results, the launch of the new Mac Studio, Studio Display, iPhone SE and iPad Air with 5G support, as well as how well the company is coping with supply chain restrictions.
