By David Wetzel New York (Knewz) — New home sales dropped heavily in April, according to a report. The Hill reports that new home sales went down 16 percent to a seasonally adjusted 591,000. That’s down from 709,000 new housing sales in March. New home sales have dropped by double digits in the last two months, the Hill reports. The median sale price for a new home rose to $450,000 in April, up more than $15,000 from March.
