Apple Watch users will certainly appreciate the ability to use their watch during workouts – it’s both convenient and useful. Unfortunately, for one reason or another, it is not always possible to launch the desired program. Most often, we simply forget to do this at the very beginning of the workout.
There is nothing wrong with that, only such forgetfulness will prevent closing the activity rings. Fortunately, nothing prevents you from manually adding a watch workout to the app. “Fitness” using the Health app on iPhone.

How to Manually Add a Workout to the Fitness App on iPhone
1. Open the app “Health”.
2. Click the tab “Review”.
3. Select a category “Activity”.
4. Find “Workout” and open this menu.
5. Press the button “Add”to add a new workout.
Now you can define your activity and enter any additional information for it, such as distance traveled and calories burned. Enter the start and end time of the workout and save it with the button “Add”.
Appendix “Health” on iPhone now syncs data with the app “Fitness” on Apple Watch, it may take a few minutes. After synchronization, you will see that the rings will be replenished in the application on your iPhone and Apple Watch.
