Trinity Trigger: a leak reveals a new a-RPG made by alumni of Pokémon, Secret of Mana, Octopath Traveler, Xenoblade – Coming to Playstation and Nintendo Switch – Multi

If you’re a fan of “old-school” action-rpgs, this announcement should please you… Indeed, the Japanese publisher FuRyu that we know in particular for The Alliance Alive HD Remastered, The Caligula Effect 2 or monark available on nintendo-switch is about to unveil a new game and, for this, has just launched a teaser site with a countdown. Officially the game has no title yet and is only known by the codename PROJECT-TRITRI… For more details, we should logically wait for the presentation of the game, planned May 26. Except that many “confidential” documents have leaked on the net and thata retailer has already spilled the beans : PROJECT-TRITRI is actually called Trinity Trigger and it should be released in Japan September 15, 2022 knownr Playstation 4 and 5 but also on nintendo-switch.

Next to that, Gematsu website gathered some info on the title. It is developed by the studio Three Rings (Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town) and above all by a distinguished team with an impressive CV. We find in particulart Atsuko Nishida, Tomohiro Kitakaze and Megumi Mizutani who all three officiated on the series Pokemon, Nobuteru Yuuki, the character designer of Chronocross, Hiroki Kikuta the composer of the score of Secret of Mana, Yuura Kubotathe screenwriter ofOctopath Traveler and of Bravely Default II as well as Raita Kazama who worked on Xenoblade Chronicles X and Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition. Suffice to say that the title has something to hold on to and we also find a little bit of all these games in the first info and images of the game that we invite you to discover below.
