Do you like to follow SVT’s slowtv investment The big moose hike, you can look forward to tomorrow because they will then start broadcasting it again. Just like last year, you will be able to watch the stunt together with others because SVT broadcasts it all on Twitch.

Broadcast is identical to the one broadcast via SVT Play but where you can also chat with other viewers at the same time.

It all starts, as I said, tomorrow, but already now you can warm up by listening to nature. The broadcast will run until May 4.

SVT has announced that their slow-TV investment The Great Moose Hike will return for a fourth season next year. This year’s season ended on May 9 and SVT writes in a press release that they had 25 million views of this year’s moose hike, which is a new record for the program. On June 13, SVT will broadcast an hour-long program that will show the highlights from this year’s moose hike. Did you watch The Great Moose Walk this year? Feel free to answer our survey below.

Do you like to follow SVT’s slowtv investment The big moose hike and want to do this together with others, SVT has now started broadcasting it all on Twitch, an experiment SVT is doing to perhaps reach a slightly younger audience. It seems to be a broadcast that is identical to the one broadcast via SVT Play but where you can also chat with other viewers at the same time. At the time of writing, almost 3,000 people are following The Great Moose Walk via Twitch. It seems to be a decent move in the chat both from viewers here in Sweden and from other parts of the world. SVT plans to broadcast The Great Moose Walk around the clock on SVT Play until 9 May. Whether the same schedule also applies to Twitch is unclear.

At 08:00 this morning, SVT launched the third season of its acclaimed slow-TV venture The Great Moose Walk. In SVT Play’s broadcasts, we will be able to follow the 100 – 200 moose that in large groups annually walk across the Ångermanälven river. The whole thing will be followed during the day as well as at night as the moose’s movement will be followed with dark cameras developed by Axis. SVT Play’s round-the-clock broadcasts run until 9 May and can be found at the link below. The broadcasts will also be available to follow on SVT’s Kunskapskanalen.
