Corsair is not directly new to the PC market but now they are entering a new segment with their first laptop ever.

Computex 2022 is up and running and in addition to major news from AMD, we have also seen Corsair enter the market for laptops. The new computer goes by the name Voyager and will exclusively use AMD hardware as part of the company’s AMD Advantage program.

Voyage comes with either an AMD Ryzen 7 6800HS or a Ryzen 9 6900HS. Both offer eight cores and 16 wires with different clock frequencies. The former processor comes with 32 GB of DDR5 memory and the second with 64 GB. The storage also differs between the models. Either 1 TB PCIe 4.0 storage or 2 TB.

The Corsair Voyager comes equipped with a 16-inch QHD IPS screen with 240 Hz refresh rate and AMD Freesync Premium. The computer also comes with a keystroke dedicated to things like streaming features. Something that comes from Elgato which Corsair bought a few years ago. The rest of the keyboard comes equipped with a Cherry MX Ultra-Low Profile switch.

Corsair has not confirmed exactly when Voyager will be available. However, the variant of the computer with a Ryzen 7 6800HS will get a price tag of 2,700 dollars. The one with a Ryzen 9 6900HS comes with a price tag of 3,000 dollars.
