Lego is expanding its Star Wars collection. As the Danish company announced, a new set will be released in the Ultimate Collector’s Series on Star Wars Day, May 4th. The Landspeeder is portrayed by Luke Skywalker in the 1977 film Star Wars: A New Hope.

The Danish clamping block company Lego has announced a new set from the Star Wars universe. The new model from the Ultimate Collector’s Series should appear in time for Star Wars Day. This is celebrated on May 4th. In English this is called May the Fourth, which sounds similar to the expression “May the Force be with you” from the Star Wars films.

X-34 Landspeeder from Star Wars: A New Hope

Lego promises a faithful replica of Luke’s X-34 Landspeeder from “Star Wars: A New Hope”. The set will contain 1,890 elements and comes with an exclusive Druid C-3PO minifigure and a Luke minifigure. The Landspeeder is 50 centimeters long, 30 centimeters wide and 17 centimeters high.

For the set, however, fans will have to dig a little deeper into their pockets. The replica of the X-34 Landspeeder is offered at a price of 199.99 euros. Lego VIPs can purchase the set from May 1st. The vehicle will be available in Lego stores from May 4th.

The new game in the Lego Star Wars series was released on April 5th. Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga dominated the Steam sales charts immediately after release. The exclusive Luke minifigure that comes with the Deluxe Edition of the game is a particular hit. This shows young Luke Skywalker in his Tatooine outfit from Star Wars: A New Hope. In his hand he carries a bag of his favorite blue milk, which also gives him a little milk mustache. Currently, the figure is sometimes offered for three-digit sums.
