Have you played through Elden Ring yet? Then you can now look forward to the Game Boy demake of the game.
It’s not only available in video form, no, the developer even plans to release it as a fully playable version.
Real retro feeling
Reddit user -shin- is working on this one fully playable demake by Elden Ring for the Game Boy.
The whole thing is based on GB Studio 3.0 and -shin- plans to finish the end of the Limgrave area by the end of May.
It remains to be seen to what extent it will continue afterwards. Given the size of Elden Ring, it seems unlikely that the entire game will become a demake.
Familiar Elements
A first trailer is already available as a foretaste, you can watch it below:
As you can see, both the dodge rolls and the “You Died” lettering are included on death. So if you want to die on the Game Boy over and over again, this is a good opportunity.
You can see the progress on Twitter and YouTube Keep up to date.
Elden Ring is definitely not the first FromSoftware game to get a demake. The Bloodborne demake is also a playable fan project and can be downloaded for free.
In Elden Ring, however, you should be careful when you steal other people’s panties. A new patch for the game has also recently been released.
