And it could be a device with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1

Insiders were the first to report this, and now Motorola itself has confirmed it. There has long been talk on the net that the company is preparing to release a flagship that will be the first to offer a 200 megapixel camera. And today, on its Weibo page, the manufacturer published a message that it will soon show a device that will bring with it “a new benchmark in image quality.” The announcement of the smartphone is scheduled for July.

At the same time, the company decided not to announce the name of the novelty. But it is rumored to be known as the Motorola Frontier. This may be the first device on the market with a 200-megapixel Samsung HP1 sensor, which was introduced in September last year. Paired with a record-breaking sensor, a 50-megapixel wide and a 12-megapixel telephoto will work. The selfie module will also impress with the number of megapixels – 60.

Motorola Frontier is credited with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, 8/12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and a 144 Hz 6.67-inch OLED display. The battery capacity should be 4500 mAh and will offer 120 W fast charging technology, as well as 50 W wireless.

It is Motorola Frontier who is wooing the title of the first with a new chipset from Qualcomm. But on the condition that Xiaomi 12 Ultra or the same OnePlus 10 Ultra, the presentation of which will also take place in July, does not bypass it.
