In the shadow of Windows 11, Windows 10 version 21H2 was introduced in November. Like versions 21H1 and 20H2, it was meager in new features and with an installation in the manner of a cumulative monthly update from Windows 10 in version 2004 or more.
For this 21H2 version of Windows 10, Microsoft recently announced a large-scale rollout which means availability for all affected users who can get it through Windows Update.
This latest version of Windows 10 brings improvements to Windows Hello for Business authentication with support for simplified passwordless deployment models for businesses, support for GPU hardware acceleration in Windows Subsystem for Linux.
It adds support for H2E (Hash-to-Element) for the WPA3 (Wi-Fi Protected Access) protocol and securing Wi-Fi networks. H2E is a method for SAE (Simultaneous Authentication Of Equals) authentication when the exchange of the encryption key, in order to reinforce the protection against side-channel attacks.
One feature update per year
Remember that for ordinary users, Microsoft will continue to support Windows 10 until October 14, 2025.
Before this deadline, this operating system will be entitled to one so-called major update per year, as for Windows 11. Even if the new features for Windows 10 should not be legion…
