More unofficial details about the “Modern Warfare” sequel have arrived. Mention is made of two iconic weapons from the 2009 spin-off and the number of weapon attachments.
A sequel to the reboot Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is coming this year. The game probably bears the same name as the cult offshoot from 2009. And apparently the developers are not only based on the name, but also on the choice of weapons on the original. This is now shown by published information from the leaker “TheGhostOfHope”, which was picked up by the established insider “ModernWarzone”.
Intervention and ACR
Should the statement prove correct, both the intervention and the ACR return. The former is a sniper rifle that has already achieved iconic status in the Call of Duty scene. It has a low rate of fire and staggers when aiming, but deals powerful damage. The second weapon is an assault rifle with low recoil but a low rate of fire.
The leaker also learned about the weapon attachments. In the new offshoot, five instead of ten essays should be available again. The latter is the case in “Call of Duty: Vanguard”, which many players could not get used to.

Nothing is currently known about the included maps. However, one or the other comeback is to be expected here as well. After all, only a single MW2 map was used with “Rust”, while classics such as “Terminal”, “Favela” or “Highrise” were dispensed with. Infinity Ward may have deliberately saved these maps for the second part.
