Tinkoff Bank introduced a new service Tinkoff Paywith which users can pay for goods and services without entering card details.
This service is already available to all customers of the company who have the bank’s application installed. A little later, the service will become available to customers of other banks – users will be able to link other cards.
The company will develop the service in stages during 2022-2023. Payments are now available on the websites and mobile applications of Tinkoff Cashier partners, of which there are already more than 30,000. Later, payments in regular stores will also become available.
To pay for goods using a smartphone, you need to click on the special Tinkoff Pay button on the payment page (similar to Yandex Pay), and then confirm the payment. The money will be debited from the card account. If there are multiple accounts, select the one you need.
To pay using a PC, you need to scan the QR code and go to the Tinkoff application to confirm the payment.
It will be possible to save user data in Tinkoff Pay, such as delivery addresses, full name, phone number, etc., so there will be no need to re-enter data for subsequent transactions. Later, a single authorization through Tinkoff ID will be launched, where users will be able to pay for goods without the help of an application and QR codes.
In addition, with the help of the service it will be possible to manage all subscriptions – a separate page within the banking application will be allocated for them.
Users of the Android operating system will be able to make payments using Tinkoff Pay and supported smartphones via NFC.
