Like many other survival games in the genre, Core Keeper will constantly ask you to upgrade your gear, with higher quality material. This is the case of tin, or tin in its English version, which is not as easy to find as copper. To get your hands on it, you’re going to have to explore the caves a bit.
How to get tin (tin) in Core Keeper?
While copper is relatively easy to recover, tin (tin) is much more difficult to obtain and will be one of your first obstacles. Very quickly, you will see that the copper is no longer enough, whether it is to overcome the first boss without too much difficulty, or simply to make yourself better quality tools, to explore a little more the place in which you are. you are locked up.
Knowing that you have no clues in Core Keeper, be aware that the tin ore is found in a very special biome, which you can explore without too much danger, if you are careful. You can go there with copper equipment. This biome is the clay biome, which is quite close to the starting biome. There’s no magic bullet to find it, you just have to explore, since Core Keeper’s caverns are procedurally generated. You will know when you have found it, since its name will be displayed on the screen, and the environment is somewhat different.
On site, you will also notice that the ground is an orange color, thus standing out from the brown of the basic biome. To find the pewter, you just have to look for the little twinkling stars in the dark, as with other minerals. A copper pickaxe will allow you to break the blocks without too much trouble. You should, very quickly, be able to make some reserves, in order to build more advanced equipment and unlock many other objects.
Note that you can also get them from chests, which can be found all over the world. Like copper, it must be melted to be used.
Finally, know that you can combine copper and tin to get bronzeand craft more robust items, and weapons that inflict more damage.
