Apple has announced the end of support for the Fleetsmith service, which is used to administer an entire fleet of iPhones, iPads and Macs.
According to a support document, Apple has stopped signing up new Fleetsmith users as of April 21, 2022. Existing customers can continue to use the service until October 21, 2022. From the end of October, users will not be able to sign in to the service, and devices will no longer receive configuration profiles from the Fleetsmith server.
Apple acquired Fleetsmith enterprise software in June 2020 and decided to shut it down two years later.
The company also published Instructions for migrating from Fleetsmith to other MDM solutions.
