Immediately divorced from her husband, Jane Mulcahy did not fail to file a complaint against her lawyer. Fervent Catholic, the Briton would have invoked, in court, the lack of consideration of her faith on the part of her lawyer who would not have explained to her that the divorce would put an end to her marriage.
During her argument, Jane Mulcahy regretted that her lawyer had not suggested a simple legal separation to her instead. But why so many regrets? Simply because the Brit didn’t want to transgress the sanctity of marriage. Unfortunately for her, the court dismissed her complaint.
