A member of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) has been shot dead in the street in Tehran, according to state broadcaster Irib. The attack took place on Sunday in a neighbourhood in south-east of the capital. The victim was a member of the Quds Force, one of five branches of the IRGC, which are also active in Syria. Meanwhile, the IRGC reported on Sunday that they had arrested suspected members of a network of the Israeli secret service Mossad.
