André Breitenreiter, who has just won the Swiss title with FC Zurich, is set to take the vacant coaching job at Bundesliga side Hoffenheim, Germany’s Bild and Sport Bild reported on Sunday. Hoffenhein parted company with Sebastian Hoeneß at the end of the season after missing the European places, having been fourth just a few months ago. The club refused to comment on the Breitenreiter reports. The 48-year-old German, a former Paderborn, Schalke and Hanover coach, has only been in Switzerland for one season.
