New Jersey may get a break from the sweltering temperatures Sunday evening, as strong scattered thunderstorms are expected to roll into parts of the state. At 2 p.m., a severe thunderstorm watch was issued for eight states, including New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. It will last until 9 p.m. Sunday.
