Set 1500 years after the events of the Dragons movies (or How to Train Your Dragons), DreamWorks Dragons: Legends of the Nine Kingdoms presents itself as a new action-adventure game based on the eponymous TV series. Expected for this fall on Nintendo Switch and competing media, we let you discover its trailer below as well as a first official description.
Fans will be able to venture beyond the Hidden World and immerse themselves in a whole new world of dragons, and soar and dive through five uncharted realms as one of the next generation dragons – Plowhorn, Wu & Wei, Feathers and Thunder – on an epic quest to save Thunder’s family. Players will need to unlock special abilities and use their tails, claws and breath to defeat fearsome enemies. It will be necessary to improve the speed, strength and intelligence of the dragons to build the ultimate hero dragon and defeat the gigantic bosses that stand in the way of rescuing the Thunder family. The future of Night Lights and all of dragon humanity depends on it!
Experienced players can also put themselves to the test in the “challenge mode”, which features replayable levels that get even harder after they’ve been completed. To add to the immersion, as players soar and soar as Thunder and his friends, they will be accompanied by signature music from acclaimed composer Chris Whiter, who created all of the game’s orchestral tracks.
