The Pokémon Trading Card and Trading Card Game is preparing to receive this summer, an extension dedicated to Pokemon Go. Pending its release fixed at next july 1, the official Pokémon site continues to present some cards that we invite you to discover in pictures on this page. Among these cards, one of them particularly attracts attention: it is the card of Metamorph. But be careful, the card won’t reveal itself easily… It will even be hidden by a sticker imitating a card from another Pokémon! You will therefore have to take off the fake card to be able to discover it and use it in game. Melmetal-VMAX



This massive Mythical Pokémon arrives for the first time as Pokémon-VMAX in the Pokémon TCG. Its powerful Juggernaut G-Max attack justifies its name by dealing 160 damage, plus 60 damage for each additional Metal Energy attached, for a max of 280 damage with 5 Energy attached. It also makes an appearance as a major Gigantamax Pokémon, although Gigantamax Pokémon are not currently present in the Pokémon GO game.




Articuno, Electron and Moltres



The classic trio of legendary Bird Pokémon arrive in the Pokémon GO expansion after inspiring the emblems of the three teams in the Pokémon GO game. Articuno, Zap, and Moltres have powerful talents that represent their true strengths. Each of their Abilities, respectively Chilling Symbol, Lightning Symbol, and Blazing Symbol, empowers their Basic Pokémon allies of the same type by increasing the damage done by their attacks to the opposing Active Pokémon by 10. This effect stacks when multiple Articunoes, Electrhors or Moltres are in play!




Keunotor and Castorno





Keunotor, neither quite relaxed nor quite on guard, pauses on a rock in the middle of bubbling water. However, when this Pokémon evolves into Beaver, the action heats up! It is of course necessary to ignore the Queulorior which skips in front of a Castorno in full action. Castorno’s Comforting Barrage talent prevents your opponent from using talents, Item cards, or Supporter cards from your deck and helps you keep the cards in your hand.




Shapeshifter



Now here’s something you don’t see every day… If you don’t look closely, you might miss it! To find Ditto in the Pokémon GO expansion, look for other Pokémon cards with a protective coating that you can scratch off to reveal the Morphing Pokémon underneath! Please note that the Pokémon covering Ditto cannot be used in official competition. You can only use Ditto itself. In fact, you’ll see a small Ditto icon instead of the usual regulation mark.


This new expansion contains beautiful illustrations that combine the world of Pokémon GO with that of the Pokémon TCG.
