On April 22, FORVIA, the world’s seventh largest automotive technology supplier, announced that the group’s Chinese name is FORVIA.
On January 31 this year, Faurecia completed the acquisition of a controlling stake in HELLA. During the transaction, Faurecia acquired about 79.5% of HELLA’s shares, including 60% of the shares held by HELLA joint shareholders. On February 7, Faurecia and HELLA announced that the combined group name would be FORVIA.
Freya Group will continue to provide services through six business divisions (including interiors, seating, automotive electronics, green mobility, lighting and lifecycle solutions) and 24 product lines.
It is worth mentioning that BYD has previously established two joint ventures with Faurecia in Xi’an and Faurecia in Changzhou.
