French prosecutors have requested the arrest of former auto executive Carlos Ghosn regarding allegations of misuse of funds and money laundering. Ghosn – who forged an alliance between Renault, Nissan and Mitsubishi, to the benefit of all three car companies – has been in trouble since 2018, when he was detained in Japan on allegations of misusing assets and under-reporting his salary.
