As announced by Ubisoft, the Free2Play title “Roller Champions” has now officially reached gold status. It was also promised that concrete details on the release date and the launch of “Roller Champions” will be available to us shortly.








Almost three years have passed since the official announcement of the multiplayer sports title “Roller Champions” at E3 2019.

After the release of the Free2Play title was repeatedly postponed, those responsible at Ubisoft have now spoken out with good news for interested players. As announced, Roller Champions has officially reached Gold status. Thus, the development of the multiplayer title is complete.

It also says that the players should keep their eyes open, as further details about the launch of “Roller Champions” are to be given shortly – including the final release date.



A fast-paced hunt for points

According to official information, “Roller Champions” is a multiplayer title in which two teams, each consisting of three players, compete against each other. The task is to complete a round with the ball in your hand on rollerblades without losing the game device or being successfully attacked by an opponent.

In order to be able to address the largest possible target group and to set the entry hurdle as low as possible, Ubisoft decided to publish “Roller Champions” in the form of a Free2Play title. As is the case with free-to-play projects of this type, long-term funding will come from additional content such as season passes or cosmetic extras.
