It’s not just the adventures of sora which are becoming more and more real, which we will find in Kingdom Hearts IVsince one of the most famous toys of Toy Story will land in the flesh on our cinema screens next June, but still in animated film format. In effect, Pixar will offer us a feature film titled Buzz Lightning (Lightyear) focusing on the character that inspired the toyan elite pilot cosmonaut from Star Command. After a teaser and a trailer that revealed some elements of the plot, here is a trailer unpublished which shows much more.

Besides being stuck on a distant planet with his comrades, Buzz will literally travel in time, which the sequences where it flies around the local star already suggested. It is therefore not another world where he will land, but the same one that he had left in the near future, thus meeting her friend’s little girl Hawthorne and the other members of the Junior Zap Patrol resistant to invasion Zurg and its robots.

Buzz Lightyear follows the legendary Space Ranger after he is stranded on a hostile planet 4.2 million light-years from Earth alongside his commander and crew. As Buzz tries to find a way home through space and time, he’s joined by a group of ambitious rookies and his charming robot cat companion, Sox. The arrival of Zurg, a towering presence with an army of ruthless robots and mysterious intentions, complicates matters and threatens the mission.
