New Jersey on Thursday reported seven new COVID-19 deaths across the state and 2,369 new confirmed positive tests — 700 more than the number from one day earlier. The states’s seven-day average for confirmed cases was 1,654 Thursday, up 3% from a week ago, and up 139% from a month ago. There were 425 patients with confirmed or suspected coronavirus cases across 70 of the state’s 71 hospitals as of Wednesday night. One hospital did not report data.
