Briefly informed. It’s not exactly my area. After Ubuntu released the new version 22.04 LTS (Jammy Jellyfish), it is now also available in the Microsoft Store for the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL).
The support for Ubuntu 22.04 LTS is 5 years, i.e. until 2027. You can find the downloads and the release note with the new functions and improvements for the “normal” Linux version here and here. Go to the Microsoft Store here:
