What is worth knowing about the new ISP is that it was created jointly by Vivo and MediaTek. Naturally, it is in many ways better and superior to its predecessor Vivo V1. Cooperation with a Taiwanese chipmaker allowed the company to offer a proprietary ISP in Vivo X80 based on Dimensity 9000.
The presence of Vivo V1 + guarantees the creation of clear, contrasting and high-quality photos even in the dark at a lighting level of less than 1 lux. Declared an improvement in frame brightness by 16% and white balance accuracy by 12% compared to its predecessor. The new chip is also responsible for displaying heavy games at 90fps and 120fps. To improve color reproduction, Zeiss Natural Color mode was proposed.
Naturally, the main bet in Vivo V1 + is made on artificial intelligence and machine learning. Thanks to AI, it was possible to reduce the load on the central processor and reduce energy consumption by 10% when performing heavy tasks.
